  1. So was the issue here with the Liverpool Care Pathway? To me it was the incorrect diagnosis that lead to implementation of the #LCP. Not much wrong with the #LCP itself!! jfc

    • In these cases, the LCP gave an opportunity to witness how these patients improved when artificial nutrition and hydration were withdrawn.
      So, they were actually helped to get better when the LCP was used for their care.
      As you say, the issue was incorrect diagnosis. They had a reversible condition, in this cases overfeeding and overhydration, which was corrected when they were put on the LCP!
